Tutoring is a vast step to encourage somebody in need. It helps students improve their education, enhance their skills and achieve more progress in their life.

Dear tutors: your detailed information will help you match students from different ages (G2/Y3 - G12/Y13) for their schooling assistance.
For an easy understanding before filling in the application form, you are welcome to read through the Q&A.
What will Excel Learning Centre do after I filled out the Tutor Application Form?

Should your qualification and work experience meet our requirement, we will send you a copy of “Contract for Service of Tutor” for your consent with signature.

OK. After I fill out the above mentioned form and send to you with my signature, what will you do next ?

Excel Learning Centre will arrange an interview schedule with you by means of Skype or WhatApp in oder to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Should my interview pass well, what will be the next step?

Should your interview be successful, we will pick you up as our a potential tutor.
A copy of “Welcome Pack” and “Guideline for tutors & Terms of business” will be sent to you to study.

OK, I will study the documents you sent to me. How long shall I wait for my service?

Should there be a client’s request and you are matched for the first Introductory lesson, a copy of “Tutor Agreement” will then be sent to you for your consent with signature.

I am too excited to wait for my first Introductory lesson! What shall I do when I receive my first appointment?

A phone or email will be sent to you to inform you that a longing excited moment comes – the first Introductory lesson arranged with our client / student will be contacted by phone or email by you directly.

What shall I prepare and bring with for the first Introductory lesson?

We will send you a copy of student’s personal background for your study and a copy of “Individual Education Plan – IEP” form which you will fill out a detail assessment on the student’s studying background plus client’s commends. So that a clear picture about how long a tuition should be tailored to benefit the student will be suggested by you.

Do I have a Timesheet for attendance? Where do I submit the Timesheet?

Yes, you have.
New and Used Timesheet record forms can be easily downloaded and uploaded with a given address website.

How do I do with the Time Sheet Attendance?

A Timesheet will cover ONLY a calendar month service record. You should submit the tutored calendar Timesheet before 4th of each month for the service payment settled on time.

When shall I get my service payment?

Service payment will be settled on 15th day of each calendar month normally.

I have lot of questions about 1/ What will happen when a scheduled class is cancelled by me or the client? 2/ What and how will I do if I am not happy with the client or vice verse? ....etc

I understand that any false declaration, misleading statement or a significant omission may disqualify me from a contract for service and render me liable for removal from Excel Learning Centre’s database.

I understand that any tuition assignment offer is subject to references, a check on relevant qualifications, employment eligibility and criminal convictions, all of which must be deemed by Excel Learning Centre as satisfactory.

I understand that once accepted I will be bound by the Excel Learning Centre terms and conditions and may not approach clients directly to offer tuition or undermine the relationship between Excel Learning Centre and the clients.

Data Protection Statement

The information that you provide on this form and that obtained from other relevant sources will be used to process your application with us. The personal information that you give us will also be used in a confidential manner to help us monitor our recruitment and placement processes.

If you are successful in your application and take up a contract for service with us, the information will be used in the administration of your contract with us and to provide you with information about us or third party processes we adopt in our business management e.g.: list or post on our website page, timesheet, payslips, etc. We may also use the information if there is a complaint or legal challenge relevant to this recruitment process.
